1 Platform Agreement & Educational Purpose
Welcome to Arthenar, an educational platform designed for learning social casino game development. By accessing our platform, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that our services focus exclusively on education and skill development in game programming.
Our platform provides educational content for learning JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and various game development frameworks. All games and activities are social casino games for educational purposes only and are NOT gambling or real money gaming.
2 Age Requirements & Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and access our educational programs. Users under 18 require parental consent and supervision for platform access.
- Provide accurate registration information and maintain account security
- Use your real name and valid contact information for course enrollment
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- Maintain one active account per individual student
3 Educational Content & Acceptable Use
Our educational materials include video tutorials, coding exercises, project templates, and interactive learning modules. Students may access content during their enrollment period and retain materials for personal learning reference.
• Sharing login credentials or course access with others
• Redistributing proprietary educational content or curriculum
• Using platform resources for commercial game development without permission
• Submitting plagiarized work or violating academic integrity policies
Students are expected to complete assignments independently and engage respectfully with instructors and fellow learners. Collaborative projects are encouraged when specifically designated by course curriculum.
4 Intellectual Property & Student Work
Arthenar retains ownership of all educational materials, curriculum, and platform technology. However, students maintain full ownership rights to their original game projects and code created during courses.
- Course materials are licensed for educational use during enrollment period
- Student projects remain the intellectual property of the creator
- Platform-provided templates may be used in personal and commercial projects
- Students grant Arthenar permission to showcase exemplary work for marketing purposes
5 Course Completion & Certification
Certificates of completion are awarded to students who successfully finish all required coursework within the designated timeframe. Our autumn 2025 programs run from September through December, with winter intensive courses starting January 2026.
Important: Certificates represent educational achievement but do not guarantee employment opportunities, specific income levels, or job placement. Success in the game development industry depends on individual effort, market conditions, and continued skill development beyond course completion.
6 Limitation of Liability
Arthenar provides educational services to the best of our ability but cannot guarantee specific career outcomes or employment results. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for educational services.
7 Privacy & Data Compliance
We comply with Canadian privacy laws and GDPR requirements for international students. Student data is processed solely for educational purposes and platform functionality. Detailed information is available in our Privacy Policy.
Course progress, assignment submissions, and communication records are maintained for educational quality assurance and student support purposes. Data retention follows applicable educational record-keeping requirements.
8 Dispute Resolution & Contact Information
Any disputes regarding educational services or platform usage should first be addressed through our student support system. Unresolved issues may be subject to arbitration under Canadian jurisdiction.
These terms are governed by Canadian law and may be updated to reflect changes in educational offerings or legal requirements. Students will be notified of significant policy changes via email and platform announcements.
